It all started with Arief Muhammad mentioning and calling his assistant named Ikoy, whenever he wants to help netizens on Instagram who are in difficulty.
Since then, the term 'ikoy-ikoyan' has been used by netizens who ask for help from Arief and spread to other influencers.
On Sunday night (1/8/2021), Arief made a post to netizens who needed help, and some lucky ones received money and baso aci deliveries.
Because of this, other influencers were flooded with DMs from netizens inviting them to join the 'ikoy-ikoyan'. One of them was Rachel Vennya.
Arief understands this situation. He apologizes if other influencers were disturbed, but he is also grateful if there are others who are moved to help as well.
