Pierre Gruno Appointed as Suspect, Wearing Prison Clothes and Raised Two Thumbs

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Pierre Gruno has been declared a suspect in the case of assaulting a man with the initials GDS at a bar in Cilandak, South Jakarta. The star of the movie THE RAID was presented to the media during a press conference held by the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Friday (14/7/2023) at around 14:30 WIB.

Pierre Gruno was declared a suspect on Thursday, July 13, 2023. The police declared him a suspect because they had obtained two pieces of evidence.

"The suspect has been declared a suspect based on our evidence," said the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Commissioner Irwandhy, Friday (14/7/2023).

The police will detain Pierre for the next 20 days while waiting for the prosecution's case file to be declared complete to be brought to the court.

"Under articles 20 and 21 of the criminal procedure law, from today until the next 20 days, we will detain suspect PG," said Irwandhy.

Just for information, Pierre Gruno, with the initials GDS, was reported to the South Jakarta Metro Police on July 13, 2023, under Article 351 of the Criminal Code regarding assault.

It is known that the alleged assault occurred on Friday (30/6) night at a bar in the Cilandak area, South Jakarta. The reporter's friend and witness named Fendy said that GDS was talking to a colleague before suddenly being punched by Pierre Gruno.

As a result of the assault, GDS suffered a torn wound on the head, below the eye, right side of the nose, and a broken nose bone. With this condition, GDS had to undergo outpatient treatment at Pondok Indah Hospital (RSPI).

According to Richard Leonard, Pierre's legal representative, his client allegedly committed assault against GDS while under the influence of alcohol.

"It is possible, but it is not certain yet because we haven't reached that stage in the process," Richard said when interviewed at South Jakarta Metro Police on Thursday (13/7/2023).

Many mental burdens because suddenly his status became a suspect apparently had an impact on Pierre's health. His high blood pressure suddenly increased.

"Tired but earlier I bought high blood pressure medicine, and I ate because I had to eat first, right?" said Richard. "Indeed, he's already sick, so he takes medicine, but if he's a little stressed, his illness tends to flare up," Richard added.

Pierre, according to Richard, has regretted his actions and has apologized to the victim. Even though the complainant has opened the door for forgiveness, he still wants to continue the report.

"The complainant has also forgiven, but the legal process still continues. I forgive Pierre and hold no grudge," he concluded.
