Police Appoint Naufal Samudra as Suspect in Drug Abuse Case

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Naufal Samudra has to deal with the law due to drug abuse. He was arrested at his residence on Jl. Margasatwa Barat, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta on Monday night (13/4).

"The individual was arrested for the abuse of synthetic cannabis narcotics, which is consumed like a vape," said Kompol Ronaldo Maradona Siregar, the Head of Narcotics Division of West Jakarta Metro Police, in a press conference via the Polres_Jakbar Instagram account on Thursday (16/4).

In the arrest, the police seized two bottles of liquid containing synthetic marijuana, each containing 10 ml. According to NS's statement, he has bought the illegal substance twice.

"The person in question has bought it twice, one bottle contains 10 ml with a price of Rp 800,000. NS bought it through social media," said AKP Fiernando.

2. Threat of Punishment

After undergoing an examination, Naufal Samudra has now been declared a suspect. "NS is already a suspect and we have issued his detention letter," Fiernando added.

For his actions, Naufal Samudra is charged under Article 112 and 114 with a minimum punishment of 5 years imprisonment and a maximum of 20 years imprisonment.
