Reza Alatas, Actor of the TV Series 'Ganteng-Ganteng Serigala' Arrested Again by Police for Drugs

Kapanlagi.com - Reza Alatas, one of the actors in the TV series Ganteng-Ganteng Serigala, was arrested by the police in relation to a drug case. Previously, Reza was also arrested for the same case in 2018. Currently, Reza has been detained at the Jakarta Metro Police along with the evidence.

Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner Pol Yusri Yunus, said that Reza was arrested for consuming methamphetamine drugs.

"Unit 4 Subdit 2 Ditresnarkoba of the Jakarta Metro Police uncovered and arrested one of the perpetrators of drug abuse of methamphetamine, commonly known as crystal meth," said Commissioner Pol Yusri Yunus.

"The incident occurred on April 10 at 2:30 PM in one of the hotel rooms in the Manggarai area, South Jakarta," he added.

During the incident, Reza Alatas did it alone. And from the arrest, a number of evidence in the form of used methamphetamine and the tools used to smoke it were found.

"The evidence that was successfully secured was one plastic clip containing used methamphetamine. It weighs about a quarter. Then there was a bong for smoking methamphetamine along with a pipe and a mobile phone," said Kombes Pol Yusri Yunus

2. There is still 1 fugitive

Currently, the police are still investigating this case further. Kombes Pol Yusri Yunus said that besides Reza Alatas, the police are also pursuing another person. And from the investigation conducted, it was known that the fugitive has the initial D.

"Then we brought the person for further investigation. From the investigation, there is still one person who is a fugitive. We are investigating where the evidence was obtained, and the initial D came up. This is what we continue to pursue regarding D. We are waiting to see how far his (RA) networks are involved in obtaining the substance. Is D also a supplier for other public figures," he explained.

3. The Longest Sentence is 12 Years in Prison

In the previous case, Reza Alatas was only sentenced to rehabilitation because no evidence was found during his arrest, but he tested positive for drugs.

However, this time the legal process will still be carried out because evidence was found during the arrest. It is estimated that Reza Alatas will have to serve a minimum sentence of 5 years and a maximum of 12 years.

"The charged articles are Article 112 subsidiary 127 of Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics. The minimum punishment is five years, and the maximum is 12 years in prison," said Commissioner Pol Yusri Yunus.
