Police Have Examined 5 Witnesses in Iko Uwais' Alleged Beating Case

Kapanlagi.com - The Metro Bekasi City Police are still investigating a report filed by a man named Rudi regarding the alleged beating case involving actor Iko Uwais on June 11, 2022. So far, the Metro Bekasi City Police have examined five witnesses, including Iko Uwais and Firmansyah, who were involved in the case.

"We have examined approximately five witnesses, maybe with Audy it will be six (witnesses)," said Ivan Adhitra in his statement at the Metro Bekasi Police Station on Monday (20/6/2022).

1. Undergoing Examination

Iko Uwais and his brother, Firmansyah, have already undergone police examination on Friday (17/6/2022). Meanwhile, Audy was supposed to undergo examination as a witness today. However, due to other activities that cannot be left behind, the mother of two will be re-examined tomorrow, Tuesday (20/6/2022).

"However, Audy's side has conveyed to our investigators to request rescheduling, as she has other activities that cannot be left behind today," said Ivan.

2. Alleged Beating Case

Previously, on Friday (17/6/2022), Iko Uwais had already undergone an examination at the Metro Bekasi Kota Police Station. The THE RAID actor was questioned over allegations of assault against Rudi. During the examination, investigators asked Iko Uwais 14 questions.

"At this time, the person in question has been questioned and has signed the interrogation report," said Ivan Adhitira at his office on Friday (17/6/2022).

Then, we will conduct research and analysis for the next examination mechanism. For brother Iko himself, there are 14 questions, and brother Firmansyah is not far behind with around 13 questions," Ivan concluded.

3. About Defamation

The report was registered with number LP/B/1737/VI/2022/SPKT: Sat Reskrim/Metro Bekasi Kota Police Station/Metro Jaya Regional Police. Feeling defamed, Iko Uwais reported Rudi back to the Metro Jaya Regional Police on allegations of defamation.

Iko Uwais reported Rudi with Article 351 of the Criminal Code on Assault and Articles 310 and 311 of the Criminal Code on Defamation.
