Kapanlagi.com - The motive behind the alleged religious blasphemy case committed by TikToker Galih Noval Aji Prakoso or Galih Loss has been revealed by the police. Director of the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Hendri Umar, said that Galih's intention was not only to entertain, but also to get endorsements after his content went viral.
"It was purely done to entertain netizens and to try to get endorsed, he didn't think too much until a video that led to allegations of religious blasphemy was made," he said during a press conference at the Jakarta Metro Police, South Jakarta, on Friday (26/4/2024).
According to Hendri Umar, they still do not know whether Galih achieved his goal or not. The investigative team is still delving into the case.
"Regarding endorsements, we are still conducting examinations to find out how many endorsements he has received, so far there have been none," he said.

Galih is said to have admitted that the content he created was born from his own idea. Of course, with the aim of making his uploaded video go viral and then getting endorsements.
"GNP consciously admits to creating and disseminating the sentence taawuz with the sound of a wolf," he explained.
With incidents like this, Hendri Umar urges the public to be wiser in creating content on social media.
"We here urge our citizens and society to be more mature and wise in social media so as not to get caught up in the law," he concluded.
As is known, Galih created content of a question and answer session with a young boy. In the video, he then asked, "What animal can recite the Quran?"
The little boy then answered whale. His reason, "Pa Ustaz."
That answer turned out to be wrong, Galih then revealed that the correct answer is Wolf.
"Wolf, auuuuudzubillahiminasyaitonirojim," Galih answered.
Galih himself was arrested on Monday (22/4/2024) night on Jalan Kampung Burangkeng, Burangkeng, Setu, Bekasi, West Java. From the results of the investigation, it was revealed that Galih Loss is the owner of the @galihloss3 account who uploaded the video of religious blasphemy.
Galih is currently designated as a suspect and detained. In relation to this case, Galih is charged under Article 28 paragraph 2 of Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE Law) and Article 156 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of 6 years imprisonment.
