Joy Tobing was the first winner of Indonesian Idol when it was held for the first time in 2004. Although eventually, due to some issues, her title was revoked.
The late Mike Mohede became the champion of the second season in 2005. At that time, he was known for his voice, which was said to be like an angel.

In 2021, Rimar Callista managed to win the hearts of many Indonesians with her beautiful voice and became the champion.
Salma Salsabil truly mesmerized many people with her voice and appearance that always dazzles, leading her to become the champion in 2023.
And in 2025, it was Shabrina Leanor's turn to emerge as the winner, and many people agree that the singer, commonly known as Bina, deserves to be an idol in Indonesia.
