Fahmi Darmawansyah, the husband of actress Inneke Koesherawati, was involved in two major corruption cases. In May 2017, he was sentenced to 2 years and 8 months in prison and fined Rp150 million for bribing four officials from the Maritime Security Agency (Bakamla) related to a satellite monitoring equipment procurement project, with a total bribe amounting to 309,500 Singapore dollars, 88,500 US dollars, 10,000 euros, and Rp120 million. While serving his sentence at Sukamiskin Prison, Fahmi was again involved in a bribery case in 2018, this time to the head of Sukamiskin Prison, Wahid Husein, in order to obtain luxury facilities inside the prison. He provided a Mitsubishi Triton car, a Louis Vuitton bag, Kenzo sandals, and cash. As a result, in March 2019, he was sentenced to 3.5 years in prison and fined Rp100 million. However, the Supreme Court reduced his sentence to 1.5 years in prison in December 2020. Throughout this long and arduous legal process, Inneke remained faithfully by her husband's side. She regularly attended court hearings and provided moral support, and their marriage has remained strong to this day.
