"Many people are in interfaith relationships. The point is Zoe is happy, I am happy, everyone is happy, we support each other. She is shooting, I am shooting, she is working, I am working, it's that simple support for me," Antonio said as quoted by detikhot.
Although they have different beliefs, the romantic relationship between Antonio Blanco Jr and Zoe Abbas Jackson always seems calm. Antonio emphasizes the importance of tolerance in their relationship.
"Just understanding. The relationship going forward continues smoothly, everything is fine," he said.
"If for now, we'll just keep going, but if the relationship becomes serious, we'll see later. We leave it to God. Hopefully, the best will come," he explained further.
Antonio once showed his tolerance by celebrating Eid al-Adha with Zoe's family some time ago. During that moment, he participated in the activities of sharing sacrificial meat even though he is not a Muslim.
This reflects his commitment to showing that differences in belief do not prevent someone from doing good.
