"Yes, Alhamdulillah, I'm just happy to see my friend happy, right? Whether they are dating or not, at least Ruben has someone to talk to, communicate with, and joke around with," said Igun when met in Pondok Bambu, East Jakarta, Wednesday (29/1/2025).
As a close friend, the man who is also a designer admitted that he doesn't really care about the relationship status of Ruben and Desy. For him, what matters more is Ruben's happiness in his daily life.
In addition to discussing the closeness of Ruben and Desy, Igun also responded to questions about Ruben's recent physical changes. However, he admitted that he did not see any significant changes.
"There are no changes at all, it’s the same. Maybe because I see him every day, I don't notice any significant changes," he said.
Instead, what he pays more attention to is Ruben's hairstyle. In a joking tone, Igun mentioned that Ruben often imitates him, especially in terms of hair color.
"His hair is new, right? He can't see how cool I am. When he sees me dye my hair, he dyes his too. It's kind of unstable, so he just follows me," he said while laughing.
Although many are curious about the closeness between Ruben and Desy, Igun admitted he doesn't see any signs of romance between them. "No, I don't see any romantic sparks, because I only meet them on Brownis. So we really don't meet and interact much," he revealed.
As a friend, Igun can only wish the best for Ruben, both in terms of health and happiness. He also doesn't want to comment too much on his friend's personal life. "Let them enjoy, let them be happy, let them be joyful," concluded Igun.
