Januarisman or Aris is the champion of Indonesian Idol season five. After gaining popularity, Aris was more often reported due to domestic issues and was imprisoned for drug-related problems. Aris was released last year and is now struggling to live for his family. Here are some stories of Aris after being released!
Aris Idol's name is back in the spotlight after being a guest on Anang's podcast on the Ngobrol Asix channel. Aris admitted to offering his guitar to several musicians but received no response. He mentioned offering it to Anang, but then clarified that it was actually Nugie.
A few months ago, Aris appeared on the show Janji Suci and auctioned off the guitar that helped him pass the Indonesian Idol audition and become the champion. Interestingly, before being called by Raffi's team, Aris expressed his desire to sell ginger and donuts to the house of Nagita Slavina's husband.
Raffi bought Aris' historic guitar for Rp 13 million. As promised, Aris gave four million of the total money to 40 fellow street musicians who needed Rp 100,000 each.
Afterwards, the remaining money from Raffi Ahmad was used by Aris and his wife to pay off debts. The rest is still being saved for business purposes.
After being released from prison, Aris did sell ginger and donuts with his wife, Rosilia Octo Fany. After being free, Aris admitted to being more grateful and everything he does now is solely for his wife and child.
In addition to selling, Aris also busks online. He also remains active in creating songs, some of which were bought by friends who intended to help him.
When performing in front of Anang, Aris was promised to be allowed to record songs in his studio for free. Anang even promised to showcase Aris' songs on the Hijau Musik channel and all the proceeds will be handed over to Aris' family.
Aris himself diligently covers songs on his Youtube channel, The Aris Official, which according to his confession has not been monetized. Well, good luck to Aris and hopefully he can advance further in the music world.
