Today Ashanty is taking her dissertation proposal exam for her S-3 studies at Airlangga University, Surabaya, Wednesday (4/23). Departing at dawn from Jakarta, Ashanty is taking her exam this afternoon and she is extremely nervous.
Not wanting to fail, Ashanty studied during the journey from Jakarta to Surabaya. Throughout the trip, she was encouraged by Anang Hermansyah who accompanied her during the seminar process.
Ashanty was very nervous when entering the examination room for her dissertation proposal at Airlangga University, Surabaya. She is taking the exam today, Wednesday, (4/23).
Ashanty is preparing a dissertation proposal titled "Adaptation Strategies of Baby Boomer and Generation X Singers to Digital Transformation." During the examination process, Ashanty admitted to being very nervous.
After listening to Ashanty's presentation and conducting a question-and-answer session, the examiners stated that Ashanty passed. "Ms. Ashanty, we have deliberated both inside and outside. There are things that you think we disagree on, but there are also things we agree on. Now your task is to arrange that agreement. Ms. Ashanty must really strive, and we appreciate your agreement. You are declared passed with a score of 88. Alhamdulillah, you got an A," said one of the examiners.
Listening to the statement from the examiner, Ashanty immediately cried with emotion. "Alhamdulillah, I got an A! Thank you, Allah. It really was an extraordinary day, from feeling nauseous, going to the toilet multiple times, crying, being shocked, nervous, happy, proud—wow, it all came together!! After having to step back, I finally finished my proposal exam, just a few more steps that will definitely not be easy, but I am proud to have reached this point," wrote Ashanty on her Instagram page.
"And I didn't make the wrong choice for my PhD at @pascasarjana_unair because I know it won't be easy, and it will be very challenging, but it will be a pride for me later if I can complete my struggle well! Amen. Thank you for all the support," she continued in the caption.
During the exam, Ashanty was accompanied by Anang Hermansyah. Now the examiner has assigned Ashanty to continue her dissertation proposal to become a scientific work, aiming to graduate within the next year.
Ashanty admitted that it was not easy to complete her dissertation proposal due to her busy schedule all this time. However, her hard work has now paid off with excellent grades, hopefully her thesis work goes smoothly later!
