The burial ceremony of Ibrahim Sjarief Assegaf took place smoothly at TPU Jeruk Purut today, Wednesday, (21/5). Family and friends accompanied the late husband of Najwa Shihab to his final resting place.
Najwa herself did not participate in the burial, as only men were allowed to attend the burial ceremony. Meanwhile, Najwa and family, along with female mourners, were asked to wait at home.
The funeral procession of Ibrahim Sjarief Assegaf, husband of Najwa Shihab, took place amidst pouring rain. Family and male mourners escorted Ibrahim to his final resting place using umbrellas.

The family buried Ibrahim in the same grave as his late daughter, Namiyah. Najwa and Ibrahim's second child passed away 3 hours after being born in 2011.
