As known, Indra Bruggman has been left by his mother. He felt very lost and devastated because he could no longer see his mother's figure.
He shared this story while filling a podcast on YouTube The Sungkars with Teuku Wisnu and Shireen Sungkar.
Because one of the ways Indra Bruggman showed devotion to his late mother is by sending prayers. He admitted that he had never been able to read Yasin before, let alone memorize it.
"Since my mother's passing, I can no longer touch her, see her face again, but at least I can pray for her and try to make sure she will be fine," said Indra Bruggman.
However, because he wanted to send the best prayers to his late mother, Indra Bruggman made a great effort to memorize Surah Yasin.
"By praying every day, I didn't know Yasin, but now I have memorized Yasin. Alhamdulillah, because no matter how tired it is, giving prayers is like giving food, so that our parents don't go hungry," he added.
According to Indra Bruggman, his late mother did not need material things and attention. He said that she only needed prayers.
"Because they don't need material things anymore, they don't need our attention, they only need prayers. As the saying goes, you should be pious," he concluded.
