Portrait of Marshanda: The Story of Her Boyfriend Who Died Falling from an Apartment Balcony, Almost Engaged

Through her YouTube channel, which is usually created for sharing about mental health, Marshanda uploaded a video on Monday (11/8/2025) titled 'when Marshanda died'. In this video, Marshanda, who is commonly called Caca, decided to share a story that she initially wanted to keep to herself until death.

Caca decided to tell her story because many people actually experience the same thing as her, mourning the loss of someone they deeply loved for the first time. Here’s Caca’s story! And also check out other news about Marshanda at Liputan6.com!

Last year, in 2022, Caca entered into a serious relationship with a man of Indonesian nationality (let's call him B) who was willing to live in Jakarta for this single mother. While in Jakarta, B lived in an apartment.

For Caca, B is very lovely and has become close to her family, and their relationship is approved. However, B, who was 37 years old at the time, suddenly suffered a heart attack, and Caca was willing to accompany her boyfriend for treatment. Caca admitted that it was the first time someone close to her had experienced a heart attack.

A week after B suffered a heart attack, Caca went to her boyfriend's apartment because they were going for a check-up. Caca waited in the lobby, but her boyfriend didn’t come down. Caca's presence there caught the attention of the security guard, who asked what the actress from INDUK GAJAH was doing there. Caca explained that she was waiting for someone. The security guard then asked Caca to describe the person she was waiting for, and the mother of Sienna showed a photo of B.

Caca was then invited to the apartment management room. There, Caca was informed that the person she was waiting for had passed away a few hours earlier after falling from the 26th floor to the 10th floor near the swimming pool. The apartment management did not know the identity of the man or his room number, but from the photo shown to Caca, it was exactly the same as the corpse.

Caca, who claimed to be under stress, was able to calmly contact her family to inform them about B's death. Caca was also willing to provide information to the police regarding her boyfriend. Caca also showed B's apartment number because the apartment management and police needed to search the room to find his identity and the cause of death. Caca, who was initially calm, only became hysterical when her younger siblings arrived, and they accompanied her to the police station to provide a statement.

Caca initially thought that B died by taking his own life. But Caca's assumption was 'refuted' after she experienced a lucid dream and met B in her dream. Caca remembers in her dream, B said he did not commit suicide. But at that time he was suffering from a heart attack that was very painful while on the balcony, unable to reach for his phone. At that moment, B felt there were only two choices: to die slowly from the pain on the balcony, or to jump down without having to feel prolonged pain.

For Caca, B's departure was the first time she was left by someone who meant a lot to her. Moreover, it turned out that a week before he passed away, B had intended to convert to Islam to marry Caca. B's departure made Caca realize that people in mourning need to be asked about their feelings and well-being or engaged in conversation, rather than avoiding the painful topic of being left behind.

Fortunately, Caca has a friend who understands her feelings and always asks how she's doing every day. Stay strong, Caca, thank you for sharing your story!
