Portrait of Maxime Bouttier and Luna Maya Staying Active in Promoting Their Film After Marriage

Couple Maxime Bouttier and Luna Maya were recently seen directly greeting the audience of their latest film titled GUNDIK. Even though they just got married on May 7, 2025, Maxime and Luna still made time to meet their fans. Maxime mentioned that the visit was a form of appreciation for the audience's support. "We just want to entertain the audience of Gundik. We came just to see, say thank you to the audience, and also meet directly. We chit chat together, that's it. That’s our purpose for coming here," said Maxime Bouttier in the Slipi area, West Jakarta, on Sunday (25/5/2025).

Working on weekends is not new for this couple, especially when it comes to film promotions. Maxime even emphasized that feeling tired is not a problem for him and Luna.

"Aren't we tired? We're never tired. We're robots," Maxime added with a laugh.

After officially becoming husband and wife, Maxime and Luna continue to maintain their work rhythm as before. Maxime revealed that their marital status does not make them less productive.   "Just because we are married doesn’t mean we are not productive. Our activities will definitely remain the same as before and after (getting married)," he said.

The compactness of Maxime and Luna is also reflected in the small symbols they wear every day. One of them is the wedding ring that faithfully circles both of their fingers.   "Here it is," Maxime replied, then showed the wedding ring he was wearing.

According to Maxime, he almost always wears the ring except when he is filming certain scenes. He realizes that in some scenes, the accessory needs to be removed.

"I always wear it, but maybe not when filming a movie," said Maxime Bouttier.
