Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed the birth of their daughter on November 6, 2022, whom they named Raha Kapoor. This name was chosen by Raha's grandmother, Neetu Kapoor, as shared by Alia at the time.
Raha is now two years old, and the couple celebrated her birthday joyfully. Family members were present, including Alia Bhatt's parents and Ranbir's mother, Neetu.

On the morning of November 6, 2024, Alia shared a throwback photo of Raha as a baby, just a few weeks after her birth. Later that evening, Alia and Ranbir held a safari-themed birthday party to celebrate Raha's special day.
The party was attended by several close family members, including Pooja Bhatt, who also shared sweet moments from the event on her Instagram stories. Pooja is Alia Bhatt's sister and also Raha's aunt.
Pooja shared a photo of a very cute two-tier birthday cake, in green color and decorated with small replicas of wild animals, such as a lion, bear, zebra, rabbit, and a safari car. The cake had "Raha 2" and "Happy Birthday" written on top, complete with the number 2 candle.
In addition, Pooja also shared photos of birthday decorations that matched the safari theme, such as cutouts of pandas and monkeys with flower decorations on their heads, as well as a giraffe with a plaque that says “tattoo.”
Pooja also revealed a photo of herself with a beautiful tattoo on her arm, which became the highlight of the event.
Besides Pooja, Mahesh Bhatt, Pooja's father, was also seen in one of the photos posing with cartoon characters Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, adding to the fun atmosphere of the party.
Sonia Razdan, Alia's mother, also shared a photo on Instagram with Neetu Kapoor, Neena Gupta, Anu Ranjan, and Shalin Pradhan, showing family togetherness in celebrating Raha's birthday.
