"Affan was a child who fought for his family, full of empathy, and always thought about the fate of his fellow ojol friends across the country," said Rieke.

"We leave the legal process to the police and ensure that the cause of Affan's departure is thoroughly investigated. I believe President Prabowo will not remain silent either," she asserted.

On the same occasion, Rieke also reminded her colleagues in Senayan to be more careful when speaking in public, especially when responding to public criticism.

"With all due humility, I ask my friends in the DPR to please be calmer, not to express statements that could offend the public, with better gestures," he stated.

According to Rieke, criticism from the people is a natural thing and must be accepted with an open heart. "If the people criticize, protest, just accept it. It's not meant to be condescending, but the situation on the ground is indeed not good enough," she continued.

Rieke urged the ojol drivers in Indonesia to hold a joint prayer for seven days to commemorate Affan. "After that, let us join hands again to continue this long struggle.
