Eko Patrio or Eko Hendro Purnomo drew attention for dancing with members of the DPR during the annual MPR session. At that time, several council members stood up and danced along to the regional songs Sajojo and Gemu Fa Mi Re. After the event went viral, Eko Patrio apologized for his dancing video becoming popular online. According to him, there was no intention behind the video he made.

"There was no intention at all; it was just that yesterday we had the event for disbanding the 17th of August committee. There was no (intention). The interpretation is way off. If there’s anything that seems inappropriate, then I, as an individual, apologize," he concluded.
