Legal counsel Vadel Badjideh, Oya Abdul Malik, finally spoke out regarding Fahmi Bachmid's statement that touched on Lolly's testimony in court. He considers that the statement has the potential to escalate tensions and urges all parties to be more wise.

According to Oya, the statement made does not fully reflect the reality that occurred in court. He also reminded that there are limits to revealing case details because the trial is held in private.

"I want to convey that what was said by the opposing side did not happen that way. But I also don't dare to speak much because the trial is closed," said Oya in the Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta, Thursday (4/7/2025).

"Create a calm situation and guard your heart," he said. He hopes that no party will exaggerate the narrative because this matter concerns the feelings of both families. Oya believes that maintaining a calm situation is far more important amid the ongoing legal process.

He also touched on the emotional impact felt by the family, especially Lolly's mother, after the trial. According to Oya, this situation should be approached with empathy, rather than being spiced up with comments that worsen the situation.

"The question is when Mother Lolly left the trial, how devastated she was. Let's make it better so that a mother's pain can be eased a little," he said.

Oya also commented on Nikita Mirzani's emotional reaction after hearing Lolly's testimony. "I believe that day was hard for her. But I also told Vadel, honestly it's better, and your job now is just to raise your hand so God can intervene," she said.

Another statement that Oya also refuted was regarding the term 'cruel' that was mentioned by Nikita's legal counsel. "Cruel for whom? There is no cruel explanation. Both have apologized to each other. This is a closed trial, so its contents cannot be disclosed," Oya asserted.

Oya urged all parties to prioritize empathy and not to exacerbate the existing wounds. "This has already entered the trial, let's keep our hearts so that not many will be hurt," she concluded.
