Posan Tobing Emphasizes Not Allowing Kotak to Sing Songs Created Together

Kapanlagi.com - Posan Tobing once again reported his former band, Kotak, to the Metro Jaya Police, Wednesday (6/9). This report was made because Tantri Cs allegedly violated copyright laws regarding some songs created by Posan Tobing.

Posan also prohibits Kotak from singing songs created together. However, Kotak feels that they have the right to sing the song because it was created together.

"Even though a song created by four or five people can be sung by all creators, permission must be obtained from all creators," said Jerrys Napitupulu, Posan Tobing's legal representative, when met at the Metro Jaya Police, Wednesday afternoon (6/9).

1. Already Conducted Mediation

When asked further, Posan Tobing also admitted that he had met with the members of Kotak. He said that during that moment, they conducted mediation regarding the ongoing conflict.

In addition, in the same opportunity, Posan admitted that he had forgiven the three members of Kotak. However, the legal issue must still proceed accordingly.

"For Tantri, Cella, and Chua, there is no more confusion," said Posan Tobing.

"As good Indonesian citizens, personally, we have talked, we have forgiven. But because this is a legal state, the process must continue," he concluded.
