Pregnant During Corona, Mona Ratuliu Avoids Meeting Many People Including Parents and Siblings

This is also felt by Mona Ratuliu who is currently heavily pregnant. She is trying to protect herself by staying at home and only interacting with her family.

"Well, in this corona situation, I don't dare to take risks, I really just stay at home, including interacting with close people. No visitors, no meeting anyone. Pregnant women have a very different immune system compared to those who are not pregnant," said Mona Ratuliu when contacted on Monday (30/3).

1. Not Meeting Anyone

Mona admits that until now she only interacts with her husband and children. She even deliberately avoids meeting her parents and siblings who held a wedding ceremony.

"I haven't even met my own parents. Yesterday my sibling also had a wedding ceremony, I didn't dare to attend because I didn't want to take any risks. So I'm really being very cautious," she said.

This 38-year-old actress said that she also neglected regular prenatal check-ups. For her, she only chooses to go to the doctor when it's urgent.

"Going for a check-up also means potentially meeting other people, there is also a risk in going to the hospital. So I try to minimize the risks as much as possible. Fortunately, I can communicate with my Obgyn through WhatsApp," said the wife of Indra Brasco. 

2. Estimated Time of Birth

This mother of three children hopes that the coronavirus outbreak can end soon. So that she can give birth to her fourth child without worrying about the deadly virus.

"(Estimated time of birth) is in May, close to Eid. Next month will be the eighth month, so I have to have weekly check-ups and I am currently looking for medical masks. I still haven't found any, they're sold out everywhere. Now I'm looking for them for my trips to the doctor and the delivery process," she said.
