Prilly Latuconsina Admits that Reza Rahadian is an Actor who Boosts Her Mood, Difficult to Hate

When asked about acting with Reza, Prilly denied feeling nervous. Although she had idolized the 33-year-old actor for a long time and hoped to work on a project together, her wish finally came true.

"Many people ask, 'Are you nervous acting with Reza?', the answer is 'Not at all'. In fact, I feel very comfortable. That's why when we have scenes together, there is a lot of improvisation," said Prilly when interviewed by KapanLagi.com in MD Place, Setiabudi area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (1/12/2020).

In this adaptation of the novel with the same title, Prilly Latuconsina is required to hate the character played by Reza Rahadian. She admitted that it was difficult because in reality, she idolizes Reza so much. "Before meeting him in this project, Kak Reza has been my moodbooster. I adore him since a very long time. Because he has been my moodbooster for a long time, the difficult part is actually how I can hate him. How does it feel to hate Kak Reza when I can't?" explained the 24-year-old actress.

Meanwhile, Reza Rahadian also admitted to being happy to be able to work together with Prilly Latuconsina. There are no obstacles in building chemistry for the sake of the role because once he knows who his co-star is, he tries to open up.

"I don't have a special formula or special tips for building chemistry. I don't have a theory on how to do it. But what I believe is, when I meet my co-star, I make sure that they feel comfortable around me and I can also feel comfortable with them. That means there is openness, trust, and synergy. That's what exists between me and Prilly," said Reza in the same occasion.
