"Before the pandemic, my durians were selling like hotcakes, it was really great. In a day, I could send them to resellers all over Indonesia. With this pandemic, the number of resellers has decreased," he said when met in the Kapten Tendean area, Mampang, South Jakarta, recently.

"I don't mention the numbers. But before the pandemic, I could pay my employees' salaries and no one complained," he said.

"We won't do any layoffs. We will handle it in a good way, we will give advice, not just terminate the employment relationship. Later, when things return to normal, we also want to bring them back," he concluded.
