Prilly Latuconsina's 4-Hour Prosthetic Makeup, Total Commitment for the Film Danur: The Last Chapter

Actress Prilly Latuconsina once again demonstrates her dedication in her latest horror film, Danur: The Last Chapter. To delve into her role as Risa Saraswati, Prilly has to undergo a lengthy prosthetic makeup process every day during filming.

The makeup process turns out to be quite lengthy. Prilly revealed that she has to sit for about three to four hours before filming begins. The prosthetic makeup is applied piece by piece to several parts of her body.

As information, this film is scheduled to be released in theaters starting March 18, 2026, coinciding with the Eid holiday. The film will also conclude the long story of the character Risa, which Prilly has portrayed since the first Danur film was released in 2017.

"Around three to four hours. Because the prosthetics are applied one by one on the face, neck, hands, and even feet. It turns out that using special effects makeup is not as easy as it seems," said Prilly at the gala premiere of Danur: The Last Chapter on Sunday night (3/8).

Not only on the face, but the prosthetic effects are also applied on the neck, hands, and feet. This makes her appearance truly different from usual. According to Prilly, using special effects makeup like this is actually much more complicated than she had imagined before.

Although the process is quite exhausting, Prilly still goes through it with great enthusiasm. She feels that this film is very special because it marks the end of her long journey in the Danur universe that she has been a part of for about a decade.

This film produced by MD Pictures is indeed designed as the conclusion of Risa Saraswati's story on the big screen. It's no wonder that Prilly admitted to feeling very emotional during the promotion process and the film's gala premiere.
