Producer Ilma Zyain, Sandy Pas Band Remembers Bunga Citra Lestari

Kapanlagi.com - Pas Band drummer, Sandy Andarusman, is once again producing a talented young singer who is ready to compete in the Indonesian music industry.

Her name is Ilma Zyain, a talented young woman born in Balikpapan on December 23, 1997, who is fortunate to be produced by Sandy and release a single titled 'Bandel'.

To develop Ilma's potential, Sandy is not alone. He is collaborating with Posan Tobing, the drummer of The Winner, as the arranger.

1. Changed 360 Degrees

As a result, in Posan's hands, the song Bandel, which was popularized by the band Ucamp in 1994, changed 360 degrees, from heavy to K-Pop.

"I thought about how this 90s era song could be enjoyed by millennials. That's why I made Kpop-style music and it suits Ilma's character," said Posan during the launch of the single Bandel in Jakarta, Friday (11/12/2020).

2. Confident in Becoming a Great Singer

As a producer, Sandy is confident that Ilma will eventually become a great singer. He also remembers Bunga Citra Lestari when they collaborated with Pas Band in the past.

"I see that opportunity. God willing, Ilma can achieve success with hard work. Because I remember when BCL first took the vocals for the song Kumerindu, at that time BCL was a relatively 'raw' singer. But with hard work and a willingness to learn, BCL can now be considered a top singer in the country," said Sandy.

3. Follow Sandy's Advice

Ilma also said that she will follow Sandy's advice by continuing to hone her vocal and musical abilities.

"I have to keep learning and learning to improve my vocal abilities. For vocals, I practice with Mr. Doddy Katamsi," said Ilma.
