Budi's real name is Gerardus Budisatrio Djiwandono, born on September 25, 1981. His position is Vice Chairman of Commission IV of the Indonesian House of Representatives.
He is the son of Joseph Sudrajad Djiwandono and Biantiningsih Miderawati Djojohadikusumo. His mother is the sister of Prabowo Subianto, who is the elected president of 2024 and Chairman of the Gerindra Party.
Since the beginning of his political career, Budi Djiwandono has been involved in the Gerindra Party and has held the position of Member of the Board of Trustees of the Gerindra Central Executive Board since 2020 until now. Not only that, Budi also serves as the Deputy Chairman of Commission IV of the Indonesian House of Representatives for the East Kalimantan electoral district and the Chairman of the Central Executive Board of Pemuda Tani (Farmers' Youth).
Budi Djiwandono gained attention during the 2024 Presidential Election because he became the Communication Team Command of the Prabowo-Gibran National Winning Team.
Prabowo Subianto's brother-in-law, Joseph Sudrajad Djiwandono, who is the father of Budi Djiwandono, was the Governor of Bank Indonesia from 1993-1998.
Budi Djiwandono has a wife named Milla Gunawan, whom he married on December 29, 2023, at the age of 42. Shortly after, he converted to Islam on December 3, 2023.
