Prosecutor Demands 5 Months of Rehabilitation for Drug Case, Anji Objects

Kapanlagi.com - The trial for the drug abuse case involving the defendant Erdian Aji Prihartanto, also known as Anji, was held again at the West Jakarta District Court. This time, the agenda of the trial was to hear the demand from the Public Prosecutor.

Anji listened to the demand read by the prosecutor virtually. In the demand, the prosecutor requested Anji to be sentenced to 5 months of rehabilitation at the Drug Dependency Hospital (RSKO) Cibubur.

1. 5 Months of Rehabilitation

"Imposing a sentence on the defendant Erdian Aji Prihartanto alias Anji bin Hedi Pitoyo to undergo inpatient treatment at RSKO Cibubur for 5 months, minus the arrest and detention period as well as the rehabilitation period already undergone by the defendant," said the prosecutor in the trial on Wednesday (6/10).

After hearing the demand from the prosecutor, Anji immediately presented an oral defense or plea before the panel of judges and the prosecutor. He requested that his punishment be reduced so that he could be released from the rehabilitation period.

2. Postponed Trial

Finally, the judge requested that the trial be postponed until next week to hear the verdict in this case. The said trial will be held on Monday (11/10).
