Proud Achievement! Anggun Appointed as Voice Actress in Disney Studios Animated Film

Kapanlagi.com - Another golden achievement has been made by Anggun. The diva has been entrusted to be the voice actress of one of the characters in the Disney Studio animated film titled RAYA AND THE LAST DRAGON.

It's understandable that Anggun feels so proud, considering she has been a big fan of Disney films since childhood. She is still unable to believe her achievement.

"This is a great honor and it's my childhood dream. When Disney Studios in Paris contacted me, I couldn't believe it. I am very happy because I am a big fan of Disney animated films," said Anggun as quoted by Kapanlagi.com, Thursday (28/1/2021).

1. The Most Honorable Honor

In the movie RAYA AND THE LAST DRAGON, Anggun provides the voice for a character named Virana, a slightly authoritarian but big-hearted leader. Anggun herself accepted the offer because she felt that the film had a very good story.

"This animated film is truly amazing. It is an extraordinary adventure to be experienced with the family. You will travel through extraordinary landscapes and the story is based on folk tales and cultural elements of the Asian continent," said the singer of Mimpi.

"This is truly the most honorable honor given by Disney Studios to our amazing continent. And Raya is a young fighter full of spirit and passion, whom you will love," she added.

2. Staying Busy Amid the Pandemic

Anggun is a singer who remains very busy despite the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition to being a judge on The Masked Singer season three in France and promoting Disney animated films, she is also involved in many other projects.

"I have to admit that before this Covid crisis, I didn't have much free time. Every month, my work schedule was full, plus I had to travel abroad, which sometimes meant I was only at home for a maximum of ten days," said Anggun.

Anggun admits that she feels lucky to still have a lot of work during the Covid-19 pandemic. She also emphasizes that her passion for music has not diminished at all. It is possible that there will be new works that she will present in the future.

"I am fortunate to be able to expand my horizons in many activities outside of music, but that doesn't mean I will stop making music. There are still many ideas in my head that will one day be realized in lyrics and songs," Anggun concluded.
