'Kick It' NCT 127 Occupies First Place in Metro's 'Best K-Pop Comeback Ranking 2020'

Recently, NCT 127 achieved another achievement with this single. It is mentioned that the group occupies the first place in the best comeback ranking of 2020!

The British daily Metro announced the list of 'The Best K-Pop Comebacks of 2020 Ranked' on its official website on December 28, 2020 (local time), which includes 20 K-POP artists who made intense comebacks this year. NCT 127, who returned with the song 'Kick It' in March 2020, topped the list. Not only NCT 127, but other SM artists such as BoA, SUPER JUNIOR, SuperM, TAEMIN, KAI, Red Velvet - IRENE & SEULGI, and NCT DREAM also made it to the list.

About NCT 127's 'Kick It', Metro wrote, "This year, NCT 127's activities were outstanding and once again proved that they can adapt to any genre of music," followed by, "Everything about 'Kick It' from the martial arts concept, guitar riffs, and the screaming chorus of 'Bruce Lee' is truly enjoyable."

2. Other SM Artists

Metro also commented on BoA's song 'Better' which ranked 6th, "This is a perfect way to celebrate the 20th anniversary of K-POP icon BoA's debut." Regarding TAEMIN's song 'Criminal' which ranked 7th, "TAEMIN always comes back with great music featuring an attractive dance song titled 'Criminal'." Regarding Red Velvet - IRENE & SEULGI's song 'Monster' which ranked 8th, "This is a sexy song with a slightly eerie atmosphere, just like the title of the song. The contrasting melody with sweet vocals adds to the overall atmosphere of the song."

As for KAI's song 'Mmmh' which ranked 12th, Metro wrote, "This chill and charming slow jam song suits KAI's vocals perfectly. It's a song that fully expresses KAI's charm with just the word 'Mmmh' in the chorus." Metro also commented on SuperM's song 'Tiger Inside' which ranked 15th, "This is a song that gives all SuperM members a chance to shine. It shows the synergy of the SM Entertainment supergroup."

Meanwhile, for NCT DREAM's song 'Deja Vu', Metro wrote, "This is a refreshing combination of sound and charisma from NCT DREAM. The chorus of this song is very attractive." As for SUPER JUNIOR's song '2YA2YAO', Metro wrote, "In January, 'K-POP Legends' SUPER JUNIOR returned with the retro song '2YA2YAO'. This song shows the unchanged 'great showmanship' of SUPER JUNIOR."
