Jellyfish Announces Disbandment of Gugudan, Agency's First Girl Group - Already 4 Years Since Debut

Kapanlagi.com - Jellyfish Entertainment revealed a surprising statement that Gugudan will soon disband. Quoting their official statement on December 30th, the agency discussed the future of their first K-Pop girl group, Gugudan.

"On December 31st, the official promotions of Gugudan will end after years of active promotions and receiving love from many fans. We have had long and serious discussions with all Gugudan members until reaching this decision," the agency said.

The agency says that they will now pay more attention to each member's career. They express their gratitude and apologies for this news.

"Although Gugudan's group activities have ended, we plan to give our best efforts for each member's career, including music, acting, and other promotions according to our abilities," he added.

2. 4-Year Debut

Meanwhile, Gugudan debuted on June 28, 2016, with their first mini album Act. 1 - The Little Mermaid. Gugudan is the first K-Pop group to announce their disbandment before 2021.
