Putri Ariani Launches Debut Single 'Her Smile Covers All Fatigue' from the Album Evolve

1. Not the First Time

Putri is no stranger to writing songs inspired by sacred texts. Previously, she released the song "Continue Your Good Steps" in February this year, which was also inspired by the Quran, Surah Al-Insyirah, verses five and six.

The song "Senyumannya" was entirely written by Putri, including the recording process. Not just this single, all the songs on the album Evolve were also produced by her. “Putri is learning to be her own producer with her internal team,” she explained about her new role.

Facing the recording process, Putri stated that this song has its own challenges. “This song has a simpler notation, the singing also has to be deeper, not overdone,” she added.

2. Third-Person Perspective

In this lyric writing, Putri used a third-person perspective, which is different from her usual style. “Usually, I use a first-person perspective (I), or a second-person perspective (you),” she said, explaining her new approach.

Putri dedicates this work to those who can always smile even in struggle and fatigue. “It touches me so much, because we know, sometimes life isn’t easy. Not every day is beautiful, but these great people, all of us, can always smile,” she expressed.
