The three stars shared unique experiences during filming in Banyuwangi, including the habit of bathing in salt water every night after finishing work.

They perform this tradition to protect themselves from the mystical energy often associated with the filming location. Queen Felisha, who plays the character Budhe Sabah, explains that this experience is something new for her.

"I come home in the morning feeling sleepy but still have to take a saltwater bath. It's scary. Banyuwangi is part of Java, and Java is mystical," she said when met in the Senayan area of South Jakarta on Friday (22/11/2024).

Hana Malasan also confirmed this habit, explaining that all the cast members follow the same routine. "Every night we come home and take a salt bath to stay safe," said Hana.

The main filming location for this movie is an old house that has a creepy atmosphere. Its damp walls and chilling ambiance force the cast to face both physical and mental challenges.

"A lot of the shooting was done in that house, and there are many scenes that require running and shouting. So, it feels more exhausting even though the shooting was only in one location," said Yasamin Jasem.

Director Upi Avianto hopes this film can offer something different for horror genre lovers.

"So I hope when this film is released, it can be a different horror offering from the existing horrors to become an interesting horror in Indonesia," he expressed.
