The collaboration event between GOLDLive and COMIKA is back with the title The Founder5 II: Unfinished Business. In 2025, the show brings back three pillars of comedy, namely stand-up, sketches, and improvisation. The organizers state that this event is a continuation of what was left unfinished last year.

The CEO of GOLDLive Indonesia, M. Faqih Mulyawan, explained the reason for bringing back the show. He said, "At the end of (The Founder5 last year), it seemed like there was something unfinished when performing the comedy sketches." He added that the moment felt right, so they are presenting The Founder5 II as an effort to complete what was not finished in last year's event.

From a creative standpoint, the Head of Operation at COMIKA, Rangga Yuansa, emphasized that there is a significant difference between this year's show and last year's. "We will present a continuation sketch from the first The Founder5, with one, a more polished artistic approach than last year. Secondly, we will discuss stories and storytelling that are more comedic, and funnier than last year. And thirdly, we will present a more exciting experience show than the previous venue," he stated during a press conference at the Comika Headquarters, South Jakarta, Tuesday (2/12/2025).

2. Unfinished Business Will Be The Last Show of The Founder5

The question regarding why this show is the last one was raised to the founders. Pandji Pragiwaksono explained that the busy schedules of each member are the main reason. "Our busyness is increasing. And I have to admit it makes us somewhat distant," he said.

Pandji also emphasized that they are doing this show out of passion, not obligation. "For us, this is just playing. So, the main decision to do this is simply because we enjoy it. When it was said that this is the last one, it’s because this wasn’t originally planned. This came about because of the unfinished business from yesterday," he explained.

Although it is referred to as the last one, Pandji does not rule out the possibility of a spontaneous moment in the future. "Who knows, Radit might wake up one day in 2027 and say, 'let's do it', maybe," he said. He concluded his explanation by stating that Unfinished Business is a continuation of the The Founder5 show from last year that was not finished.

The complete formation of The Founder5 is back, namely Pandji Pragiwaksono, Ernest Prakasa, Raditya Dika, Isman H.S, and Ryan Adriandhy. They are five figures known as the pioneers of modern comedy in Indonesia. This performance is also supported by comedians such as Ali Akbar, Dani Beler, Hifdzi Khoir, Pacinko, Erwin Wu, Barry William, Ummi Quary, Adi Arkiang, and Mister Aloy.

Pandji Pragiwaksono revealed the most noticeable development among the founders. He stated, "It seems that the most noticeable increase is the enthusiasm in doing this together." He added that they are now more confident in performing sketches and improvisation because they do it more often.

Raditya Dika also touched on the close bond among the members that has been established for a long time. "Being friends for fourteen years really makes that chemistry stickier," he said. When asked about the reason they are holding a show together again, he explained that this moment is rare because they do not have another occasion where all five can gather together.
