Raffi Ahmad and Dion Wiyoko Successfully Become Champions in 'Lagi Lagi Tenis', Defeating Desta Once Again

Kapanlagi.com - The pair of Raffi Ahmad and Dion Wiyoko successfully became champions of the 'Lagi Lagi Tenis' competition held at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Friday (23/6). They managed to defeat the pair of Desta and Pradikta Wicaksono or Dikta after going through a quite intense match.

Desta and Dikta initially led in the first set with a score of 6-4. However, in the second set, Raffi and Dion equalized the score with a score of 6-3. The match continued with a third set which turned out to be even more intense because they were chasing the score. But in the end, Raffi and Dion's team won with a score of 6-3. This is certainly Raffi Ahmad's second victory after previously defeating Desta at the Tiba Tiba Tenis event held in November 2022.

1. A Struggle-Filled Practice

After the match, Raffi Ahmad and Dipn Wiyoko thanked all the players involved. Their daily tennis practice has paid off.

“Thank you everyone. But we also thank Desta, Dikta, Nia Ramadhani, Luna Maya, my beloved wife, Gege, coach, and Andara team,” said Raffi Ahmad enthusiastically.

“I thank my partner (Raffi) for our crazy effort in practicing every morning, afternoon, and night. It was not in vain. I also thank Desta and Dikta for being amazing opponents,” added Dion Wiyoko.

2. Desta and Dikta Were Less Focused

Meanwhile, Desta and Dikta accepted their defeat and acknowledged the superiority of Raffi Ahmad and Dion Wiyoko. Desta and Dikta admitted that they were less focused towards the end of the match, causing them to lose many points.

“We were too relaxed and lost focus. That's tennis, it flows. If we lose focus, that's it,” said Desta.

“We played well, but we got carried away by Raffi and Dion's game. They are really good. We should have gotten critical points, but we lost focus and couldn't get them,” added Dikta.

3. Successfully Bring Home 2 Billion Rupiah Trophy

With this result, Raffi Ahmad and Dion Wiyoko are entitled to bring home a rolling trophy sprinkled with diamonds worth Rp 2 billion. Indonesian tennis legend Yayuk Basuki presented the trophy and Raffi Ahmad and Dion Wiyoko received it with happy faces.
