Kapanlagi.com - The issue of bullying among school children is currently a hot topic in society. As a father of two boys, Ari Wibowo reveals that he forbids his children from engaging in bullying behavior towards their peers at school.
"I always tell my children not to be bullies, but to always be defenders against bullying," said Ari when met in Mampang, South Jakarta, on Monday (18/3/2024).
Ari Wibowo admits he is not worried that Kenzo and Marco will become victims of bullying. Because both of his sons have been equipped with different sports that can be used to defend themselves at any time.
"I have equipped my children. Kenzo practices taekwondo, while Marco practices boxing. So, if someone bullies them, I feel sorry for the bully," said the former husband of Inge Anugrah.
Not only equipping his children with self-defense skills, Ari Wibowo also teaches them to do good deeds. Recently, Ari invited Kenzo to participate in building houses for the less fortunate.
"Yesterday, Kenzo and I built a house for those who are unable. We worked together with Habitat for Humanity and my church, building houses for those who earn less than one million per month. I introduced this to my child so that he can do good to everyone," Ari explained.
