1. Difficulty in Playing the Protagonist Character

According to Raya, playing an antagonist character is easier for her than playing a protagonist role. "Because I am already used to being an antagonist, to the point where I am labeled as a really bad person, it’s easier to portray and it feels good to be an antagonist woman," she said.

Although she often plays evil characters, Raya Kohandi finds it challenging when she has to play a protagonist role. According to her, the role of a good woman in soap operas is more challenging because it often involves selling tears and suffering.

"Being a protagonist is heavier and tiring," she said.

2. Experiencing Unpleasant Situations

During her time being dubbed the 'Queen of Antagonists', Raya Kohandi admitted to having experienced unpleasant treatment when in public places.

"In the past, I often got pinched and was considered a bad woman by mothers. Now it’s not that extreme, just hate comments on Instagram," she concluded.
