After the departure of their father, Oki Setiana Dewi, Shindy Putri, and Ria Ricis agreed to renovate their childhood home in Batam into a dormitory for Quran memorizers. This was done by the three siblings to commemorate their father while providing benefits for others. Shortly after, the renovation process of their home has entered the finishing stage and is ready to be inhabited by the students. Let's take a look at the new appearance of Oki Setiana Dewi and Ria Ricis' childhood home.
This is the new appearance of the childhood home of Oki Setiana Dewi, Shindy Putri, and Ria Ricis, which holds a million memories with their late father, Sulyanto.
After the renovation process of their house is complete, Oki Setiana Dewi and her husband flew directly to Batam to arrange the residence that used to be their home with their family.
No longer inhabited by the family, this house will continue to provide benefits by changing its function to become a boarding school for students who memorize the Quran.
This renovation did not completely change the shape of the building. The same goes for the paint color which has been preserved as white from the past until now.
The inside of the house is ready to welcome the arrival of the students. With the provided facilities, the Quran memorizing students can stay comfortably.
Simple and clean, bunk beds are neatly arranged in the students' rooms. This house can accommodate a sufficient number of students considering the available beds.
Other facilities such as wardrobes, pantry, laundry and ablution area that can be utilized by the students are also ready to be used.
"InshaAllah, with the presence of @maskanulhuffadzbatam, it makes me always want to come back to my 'home' and serves as a beginning for a broader da'wah in my place of birth. Please pray for me!" expressed Oki Setiana Dewi.
