Recovering from Covid-19 and Starting Filming Again, Melaney Ricardo Doesn't Want to Work Too Hard

Kapanlagi.com - Some time ago, artist Melaney Ricardo, had to take a total rest because she was suspected of being positive for Covid-19. She had to take a break from her busy work in the entertainment industry to restore her physical condition.

Now, the mother of two children is healthy again and has started working in the entertainment industry. One of the programs she is participating in again is In The Kost, which airs on NET every Monday to Wednesday at 6:00 PM. After being absent from several episodes, Melaney Ricardo is grateful to be back with her colleagues in In The Kost.

"I feel very happy, super happy, and very grateful to be filming In The Kost on NET again because it was quite a long break, more than a month. So I'm very happy, I feel like everyone involved in In The Kost is like my own family," said Melaney Ricardo.

1. Don't Want to Be Too Insistent

However, Melaney Ricardo admitted that she didn't want to be too insistent with her current job. She still has to limit her work to ensure her physical condition is fully recovered 100 percent.

"My health is already quite good. But I still don't want to be too insistent on work for now. Maybe for a while, I'll limit my working hours to restore my physical condition even better," said Melaney at NET Studio.

2. Long Time No Shoot

Tyson James Lynch's wife also shared about how she had to take a moment to rest from shooting activities. To the point that her shooting partner, Rina Nose, never stopped asking why Melaney never shot again?

"My body was warm and I felt nauseous all the time. So I chose to take a break first. Many friends from In The Kost asked me at that time, 'Why isn't Melaney coming in?' One of them was Rina Nose, who asked the most, including friends from NET Creative Team. At that time, I felt very confused about whether to share or not when I was declared positive for infection. At first, I panicked, especially since many journalists came to my house, interviewed my neighbors, and a sister who waited at my house. But I understand that journalists are just doing their job and this situation is part of the risks of my job as a public figure that many people want to know about," Melaney explained.

3. Bored

When asked what she did while undergoing healing efforts through self-isolation in the hospital, Melaney also expressed her frustration.

"Honestly, I'm really bored because it's been quite a long time. I feel really up and down. I can only spend my time with God. I pray a lot during isolation. The only entertainment I have is watching movies and television. I try to stay on a positive mind so that my immune system doesn't drop. Yesterday, during my rest, I watched In The Kost on NET on television. Sometimes, I feel sad because I can't get involved yet due to my condition," she said.

4. In The Kost

In addition to the return of Melaney Ricardo, the residents of In The Kost on NET also welcomed the presence of a new figure, a local unemployed youth who is comical through the presence of Surya Insomnia. The new resident of In The Kost is ready to do anything needed, also known as Palugada (Apa Lu Mau Gue Ada).

"The presence of Surya Insomnia, who is indifferent amidst the commotion of the residents of In The Kost on NET, will certainly make the sketch comedy even more interesting, lively, and exciting. Viewers will find new and more exciting conflicts in In The Kost starting this week.
