Regina Poetiray, the vocalist of the band Geisha, is enjoying a glorious time in her music career. At the age of 26, Regina admits that her focus is still on her singing career and pursuing new achievements with the band that made her name famous. "Oh my, marriage target, definitely before I turn 30," Regina revealed when met in the Bulungan area, South Jakarta, some time ago.
Nevertheless, Regina does not deny that she is currently focusing more on her work. Moreover, at the age of 26, she still has enough time to pursue her dreams in the music world. "Now I'm 26, just getting started. I'm also just focusing on my career, focusing on singing first," she said casually.
Entering the year 2025, Regina also has a list of resolutions she wants to achieve. However, she admits she does not want to set her targets too high. "The resolutions are not too lofty, I hope Geisha's song goes viral. Amen," Regina said hopefully.
In addition, Regina also hopes that Geisha's performance schedule will be busier in the coming year. She wants Geisha's songs to continue to accompany the lives of their loyal fans, both those who have followed the journey of this band for a long time and new listeners.
"So what else, there are many performances with Geisha, what else, basically Geisha's songs can be a companion for My Geisha from the past, as well as My Geisha that is new. Yes, that's a soulmate right, meeting a soulmate, amen," she added with a smile.
Speaking of big plans, Regina gave a little hint about the new breakthrough that Geisha will be doing. The band is preparing a new album that will contain fresh songs ready to pamper their fans. "Wow, there will be a new album, for real. I'm spilling the new album. The songs are all really new songs. Just wait for it, friends," she said enthusiastically.
