Reported by Uya Kuya Regarding Fraud, Medina Zein Faces 4 Years in Prison

Kapanlagi.com - Presenter Uya Kuya underwent an examination for more than 2 hours regarding his report on Medina Zein regarding alleged fraud in the sale and purchase of two cars. The father of two also came with additional evidence to be able to drag Lukman Azhari's wife into the iron bars.

"The reported fraud, because it is Article 37. The threat is 4 years in prison," said Uya Kuya at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday (25/5).

Uya Kuya himself admitted that this was the first time he faced legal proceedings and was examined as a reporter. He gave many statements starting from the beginning of their acquaintance until the occurrence of the fraud committed by Medina Zein.

"There were so many questions. This is related to the chronology of when I first met Ms. M, I was asked, until I knew Ms. M was only in March," he said.

1. Waiting for Good Faith

Even if Medina Zein had good intentions to make peace, Uya Kuya said that he had already given her the opportunity. However, Medina Zein seemed unresponsive until the case is now being handled by the police.

"We'll see how it goes in the future, but the bottom line is that from the beginning, when this case wasn't long, I said that I didn't want this case to drag on. I offered to make peace and settle it. I've already offered that, so now just follow the process," Uya Kuya concluded.

2. Car Buying and Selling Business

As reported, the case started when Uya Kuya and Medina Zein were involved in the business of buying and selling cars. Medina Zein offered two cars to Uya Kuya, claiming that she needed money to pay for hospital administration fees.

Finally, an agreement was reached because Uya felt sorry for Medina Zein's condition. Uya agreed to the transaction of buying and selling two cars and sent Rp100 million as proof of Down Payment (DP).

3. Uya Feels Cheated

Unfortunately, after further investigation, it turned out that the two cars offered to Uya Kuya were not owned by Medina Zein. Feeling cheated, Uya brought the matter to the legal realm by reporting Medina Zein to the Jakarta Metro Police for alleged fraud.
