Reported Missing, Police Keep the Door Open for Peace with Dr. Oky Pratama

Law enforcement officials are still working to facilitate the resolution of the terror issue between Sarah Maria's husband and the reported party through discussions or mediation.The Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto, provided an explanation to the media regarding the dual strategy implemented by the investigators. 

He emphasized that the effort to reconcile both parties is being conducted alongside the substantive law enforcement process."There is still an opportunity for mediation. However, in parallel, expert examinations will also continue," said Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto in his statement.

In fact, concrete steps to bring both parties together had already been initiated by the investigators. An official invitation had been sent for a meeting scheduled to take place on Thursday, January 8, with the hope of finding common ground.

Unfortunately, the mediation agenda had to be canceled. The 33-year-old doctor, who is also known as a celebrity on Instagram, showed a cooperative attitude by being present at the location, but the opposite was shown by the reported party, who was absent from the meeting.

"The reporter with the initials OP was present, but the reported parties with initials HP or HS and IW were not present, so the mediation could not be carried out," explained Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto detailing the reasons for the failure of the initial mediation.

In response to the mediation that has not yielded results, the investigators from the Metro Jaya Police do not remain silent and continue to move forward. The focus of the deepening of the case material now involves opinions from competent external parties to maintain the objectivity of the case handling."The investigator will coordinate with experts to seek opinions regarding this case as part of the investigation process," added Budi Hermanto.

Until now, the Metro Jaya Police are committed to handling the report from the doctor who graduated from Baiturrahmah University transparently and professionally. Dr. Oky reported allegations of terror in the form of dozens of flower arrangements containing slander and defamation in August 2025.
