Responding to Allegations of Domestic Violence with Wife, Jonathan Frizzy: I Just Want Things to Be Fine

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Jonathan Frizzy recently responded to the summons from the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Tuesday (7/9/2021). The actor from the soap opera "Bunga di Tepi Jalan" was questioned as a suspect in response to a report by his wife, Dhena Devanka, regarding allegations of domestic violence.

Ijonk, as Jonathan Frizzy is commonly known, came to the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police accompanied by his legal team and his uncle, Benny Simanjuntak. After undergoing the examination, Ijonk denied committing domestic violence as accused by his wife some time ago.

"I just want to say that this is a domestic matter, and I just want things to be fine. I came here to defend myself against the allegations of domestic violence," said Ijonk at the South Jakarta Police Station, Tuesday (7/9/2021). "Regardless, Dhena is the mother of my children, but I am here to clear up the issue by defending myself," Jonathan Frizzy continued.

1. Investigated by Investigator

The 39-year-old artist was questioned by the investigator for approximately four hours. The father of three children said that he did not receive many questions from the police regarding Dhena Devanka's report. "Yes, not many (questions), only a dozen," he said.

Furthermore, Jonathan Frizzy stated that the purpose of his visit to the South Jakarta Police today was only to clarify that he had never committed domestic violence. "Once again, I am here to clarify that the conflicting news is not true, I did not commit domestic violence," said Ijonk.

2. Not Bringing Any Evidence

On the same occasion, Yohan Kristianto, as Ijonk's legal counsel, stated that they did not bring any evidence to be handed over to the investigator today. As a good citizen, their client will continue to follow the applicable legal process.

"Regarding the evidence, I highly respect the course of this legal process. In this legal process, we cannot disclose anything until the investigation is completed," concluded Yohan Kristianto.
