Kapanlagi.com - The Depok Religious Court has granted the divorce petition filed by Irish Bella against Ammar Zoni. After keeping silent for a long time, Irish finally spoke openly about the decision to separate from Ammar.
It turns out that Irish had been thinking about filing for divorce since Ammar's second arrest. However, at that time she was still unsure whether the decision she made was right or not.
"I made the decision to separate before he got caught for the third time. At that time, I was still confused, Oh God, is my decision right? Before making that decision, I always asked for guidance," said Irish as quoted in the Pagi-Pagi Ambyar studio, Kapten Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Monday (1/4).
The third arrest of Ammar Zoni is considered by Irish Bella as an answer from Allah. So when Ammar is in prison, he filed a lawsuit to the Depok Religious Court on November 6, 2023.
"When I received the news (Ammar's third arrest), oh that means I didn't make the wrong decision," said Irish.
Irish Bella made the decision to divorce after careful consideration. One of the reasons is for the well-being of her two beloved children, Air Rumi Akbar and Ara Puti Sabai Akbar.
"I prioritize my children, do I have to go through this (being arrested) several more times? My children are still young, they learn not only from words, but also from actions. I can only pray, 'Oh Allah, please fix it in whatever way You see fit'. I hope that after this, he will rise and become a good father for the children," Irish hopes.
Irish Bella does not completely blame Ammar Zoni for what happened in their marriage. Humbly, she admits that she is also at fault for not being able to take care of her husband.
"Because no matter what, I was his wife. Maybe there was something wrong with me that made him end up like that. Failure doesn't mean it's only his fault, but I definitely have my own faults too," Irish firmly stated.
