Revealing the Chronology of the Death of Her Mother, Kikan Cokelat Grateful to be Able to Fulfill the Deceased's Last Wish

Kapanlagi.com - Sad news once again envelops the entertainment world in the homeland, this time it comes from the vocalist of the band Cokelat, Kikan Namara, who has just lost her beloved mother, Indira Damayanti. It is known that the late Indira Damayanti took her last breath after battling liver cancer.

When met after the funeral at TPU Jeruk Purut, Wednesday (9/8), Kikan recounted how her mother fought against the illness she suffered. She explained that her mother's condition deteriorated due to the illness.

"So, in February, my mother was diagnosed with liver cancer. That was in February 2023. Then, as time went on, maybe because the spread was quite fast, my mother's condition continued to decline," said Kikan Namara.

1. Don't Want to Die in the Hospital

Kikan also said that after receiving treatment at the hospital for quite some time, her late mother wanted to go home. It was her mother's wish to rest in a familiar place with her children, grandchildren, and beloved family.

"But indeed, my mother was hospitalized for three weeks, and she always said, 'I don't want to be in the hospital, I want to be at home. Please take me home because I want to be at home,'" she said.

"That was always her request, and even two months before she passed away, she said that there was nothing else she wanted except to die at home, in a familiar place, in a safe and comfortable place, surrounded by her husband, children, and grandchildren," she continued.

2. Happiness Fulfills Mother's Request

Certainly as a child, Kikan is very grateful because she has followed her mother's wishes. The late mother passed away peacefully.

"Alhamdulillah, last Tuesday, my mother passed away peacefully and returned to Rahmatullah peacefully and according to her request, surrounded by her husband, children, and grandchildren. It's more or less like that," she said.
