Rhoma Irama Becomes Poor in the Soap Opera 'Banyak Jalan Menuju Rhoma Tingkat 2', Rhoma Irama: I am Descended from Poor People, So I'm Not Surprised

Kapanlagi.com - Rhoma Irama, who used to live a luxurious life and be abundant in wealth, is now poor. The king of dangdut has to live his days with a difficult economy and tries to find a job to support his wife and children's lives.

That's what happens in the soap opera 'Banyak Jalan Menuju Rhoma Tingkat 2' which will air on Indosiar for a special Ramadan program. For Rhoma Irama, the storyline of the soap opera is very challenging for him.

"If I am poor, I am descended from poor people, so I'm not surprised. So, the story of poverty actually becomes a way to express that we should not know despair, konaah, meaning we can enjoy the grace of Allah," said Rhoma Irama during a press conference for the soap opera 'Banyak Jalan Menuju Rhoma Tingkat 2' in the Cilandak area, South Jakarta, on Monday (2/3).

1. Grateful

Although not immersed in wealth, Rhoma Irama emphasizes the need to be grateful for what the Creator has given. According to him, the TV series Banyak Jalan Menuju Rhoma Tingkat 2 teaches religious values, especially patience.

"Even in poverty, there are many blessings. So, there is a great wisdom in this poverty," he said.

2. Remaining Happy

In addition, living a life without abundant wealth, Rhoma Irama remains happy because his wife, played by Camelia Malik, and his daughter, played by Silvia Anggraini, remain loyal to him.

The TV series Banyak Jalan Menuju Rhoma (BJMR) Tingkat 2 is a success following the previous TV series that aired before the 25th anniversary of Indosiar in January. The series is planned to air during Ramadan 1441 H.

Not only Rhoma Irama, Camelia Malik, and Silvia Anggraini, but also several top artists are part of this TV series, such as Akri Patrio, Kubil, Ichal Muhamad, Dafina Jamasir, Hamas Syahid, and many more.
