Ria Ricis Can Breathe Easy, Police Successfully Arrest Suspected Threat and Extortion Perpetrator of 300 Million Rupiah

"On June 10, 2024, Monday at 1:20 AM, the investigation team successfully made a forced arrest of the suspect, AP, at his house in Cipayung, East Jakarta," said Director of Criminal Investigation of the Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner Ade Safri Simanjuntak, to the media on Tuesday (11/6/2024).

After being apprehended, the perpetrator was immediately taken by the police to the South Jakarta Metro Jaya Police Headquarters. Currently, investigators are still conducting an examination of the suspect to deepen the case.

"Taken to the investigator's office of the Sub-directorate of Cyber Crime at the Metro Jaya Regional Police for further investigation into allegations of criminal acts," he said.

2. Feeling Aggrieved

Ria Ricis herself is known to have come to the South Jakarta Metro Jaya Police Headquarters on Monday, June 10, 2024, for additional examination regarding the reported case. She feels aggrieved by extortion and threats through electronic media.

"Not only to me, but it also affects several parties like the management team, even the family and closest people," said Ria Ricis after the examination.

The mother of one also mentioned that the extortion and threats lasted for 5 days. Finally, she decided to file a police report on June 7, 2024, yesterday.
