Audrey Vanessa Calls It Important to Introduce Children to Protect the Environment: Our Earth is Currently Not in Good Condition

Kapanlagi.com - On World Environment Day which falls on June 5, 2024, Audrey Vanessa said that it is the right time to remind people of the importance of preserving the environment. According to this 24-year-old woman, one important strategy is to introduce it to young children.

"It is very important because as we know, children are our future, as we know that our earth is currently not in good condition," said Audrey when met at Global Jaya School, South Tangerang, Wednesday (5/6/2024).

According to Audrey, there have been many changes due to many people who are not aware of how important it is to protect the environment. That's why she doesn't want future generations to do the same thing.

"Compared to how the earth used to be in our grandparents' time, our parents' time was usually very lush, and now there are so many problems. If this continues and children are not aware of these problems, then the earth will be ruined," said Audrey.

"Educating them from a young age is very important for them to make it their lifestyle and habit," continued the woman who is also Miss Indonesia 2022.

2. The Importance of Protecting the Environment

Audrey said that it is important for us to be aware of the importance of protecting the environment. Moreover, we ourselves live on this earth and it should not be destroyed so that we can continue to live comfortably.

"That's why on this Environment Day, we are reminded that this earth is our home. If not us, then who else can take care of it? Plants and animals cannot do it because we are the ones living here. We need to educate the community that it is their responsibility, and they will face consequences with their actions," explained Audrey.

Audrey hopes that in the future, more people will care about preserving their environment. This is to ensure that the earth we live on can become comfortable and safe again.

"Let's hope that together we can care more about our home, our earth, because with the small things we do every day, but we do them together," she concluded.
