Ririn Ekawati Arrested by Police for Drugs, Status as a Witness

Kapanlagi.com - Ririn Ekawati was arrested by the police on Sunday (8/3). She was found with several pieces of evidence including 7 Xanax pills at the 39-year-old woman's residence.

Currently, Ririn is still undergoing examination. Although the urine test results showed that Ririn is negative for drugs, she still has to undergo a hair test. The results of the hair test will still have to wait for several days.

"According to the BNN, the hair test takes about 3 to 5 working days. And after receiving notification from the BNN that the results are out, we will inform the media," said the Head of the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Unit of West Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Ronaldo Maradona Siregar at his office, Tuesday (10/3).

Currently, Ririn's status is still as a witness. The examination will continue, and besides Ririn, several other parties are also being examined.

"Ririn's status as a witness is still under investigation, so the examination will continue, we will proceed, and we are still examining other parties related to this case," he continued.

Ririn underwent examination together with ITY. From the results of the examination, ITY admitted to giving half of the Happy Five pill to Ririn. This was confirmed directly by the Head of the Narcotics Detective Unit of West Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Ronaldo Maradona Siregar, in his office on Tuesday (10/3).

3. Ririn Was Given Half of the Pill

"So, based on the confrontation results last night, RE and ITY were informed by ITY that he did indeed give half a pill of Happy Five to RE, but he did not know whether it was consumed or not," Ronaldo explained.

Meanwhile, Ririn stated that she had taken the pill and then vomited it out.
