Roby Tremonti Denies Threatening Hesti Purwadinata Despite Feeling Hurt

Kapanlagi.com - Roby Tremonti held a clarification at his home on Tuesday (1/13/2026), regarding the statement of Aurelie Moeremans in the book Broken Strings. In the book, Aurelie mentions grooming and domestic violence that she experienced from Roby.

Roby was also asked about the threats he made to Hesti Purwadinata, who posted support for Aurelie. Here is his statement!

When asked about the news that Roby threatened Hesti, he immediately asked for permission to show the contents of the WA chat to Edo Borne Putra (Hesti's husband). Roby requested that what he did should not be misrepresented.

"Don't twist the timeline of who I WA first and who I DM first. As far as I remember, I DM'd Edo Borne (Hesti's husband) because he is Hesti's husband. Clearly, this name involves Hesti Purwadinata, right?"

2. Roby Tremonti Feels He Did Not Use Harsh Words

Roby feels that he did not threaten Hesti or Edo because he did not use harsh words in the chat he sent. He also mentioned that in the book written by Aurelie, his name is not mentioned directly.

"I emphasize again, threatening language is definitely harsh, right? Don't twist it in the media. This DM was on January 6, at half past 10 at night. It says: 'Do, how are you? I heard from my friend that Hesti is also spreading Aurelie's book link. Sorry, Bro, I had to capture this until now, that's why I've just been quiet. The book really doesn't explicitly mention my name, but the opinion manipulation is entirely directed at me. If it really peaks (gets crowded), I will take legal action, Bro.'"

3. Roby Tremonti DM Edo First

Roby also explained that he had tried to contact Edo since Thursday (1/8/2026) on Instagram, but did not get a response. That is why he sought Edo's WhatsApp number.

"That was my narrative to Edo Borne. I asked for Edo's WA number. I messaged him on Thursday. If someone is angry, does the language go like this: 'Afternoon Do, how are you? This is Robby. I sent you a DM on IG that you might not have read. I want to discuss Hesti's post on TikTok and IG about the book that she is participating in publishing, Broken Strings.'"

4. Roby Tremonti Hurt by Hesti's Post

Roby Tremonti admitted to being hurt by Hesti's supportive post for Aurelie. He realized that Hesti was giving support because she and Aurelie indeed know each other, thus validating what is in the book.

"'I truly hope she is never given a stage again'. My job in the shooting world means I want the person to be boycotted, right? She knows who the person is. Let me clarify again, I know you Hesti, I also know Edo. Maybe we are not friends, but I know. And there has never been any conflict," said Edo.

5. Roby Tremonti Feels His Chat is Not a Threat

After sending a DM to Edo and not getting a reply, Roby decided to contact him via WA. He requested an immediate response and hoped that the media would not refer to this as a threat.

"I wrote: 'I’m waiting for your feedback, Bro. I’m reaching out to you because I still respect you as Hesti's husband and I know you too. Please give me your feedback. Okay Bro (using a worship/respect hand emoji).' Please highlight that as it is. So this doesn’t turn into a twisted controversy on social media. There’s no threatening language in that. Just using one (emoji) is already polite, let alone two. I wish you good health always, Do," said Roby.

6. Roby Tremonti Admits He Will Report Edo and Hesti If There Is No Response

Although he claims there is no threat, Roby admits that he did mention taking legal action. He will do this if Edo still does not respond to his chat.

"Okay Do, I've tried to reach out to both of you, but it seems there has been no response. I'll wait 1x24 hours, Bro. If there is really no response, then I know I have to take legal action if necessary," Roby said, mimicking his text to Edo.

Roby indeed admits he mentioned in the chat that he would report to the authorities if there was no prompt response. But Roby emphasizes that he will only do this if necessary, so for him, it is not a threat.

"I said if necessary. Because I know this news will be widespread. Let me underline, it doesn't mean I will definitely go the legal route, but if necessary. With very clear EYD," he concluded.
